Day 2: Magic Kingdom - High School Musical

The High School Musical Pep Rally originated in the Magic Kingdom but was moved to Disney MGM Studios in January of 2007. The East Side High Wildcats are holding a Pep Rally and everyone in attendance is able to join in.

My daughter went crazy when she saw this. We had no choice but to put everything on hold and wait for this show to start. This show was located in Tommorowland right by Space Mountain. There was no seating so you had to stand or sit on the ground. Basically the show is a sing-a-long to the tv shows main song. The cast is not the same as the television show and neither are the cast members names. But it was fun for all the kids. They get to go out and cheer with the cheerleaders and warm-up with the basketball team.

Its a nice cute little musical and if your child is a fan of High School Musical then they will want to catch this.

Hope you enjoy the photos.

We spent the entire day at Magic Kingdom. I havent been there in over 20 years. My kids, it was their first time. They loved it, they smiled the entire time. My daughter who is 8 years old lost her mind when she saw there was a High School Musical show there. She was lucky enough to get picked to getup and go dance with them. my son of course who is 11 liked the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and Space Mountain.

Day 1: MGM Studios

The first park we went to was Disney's MGM Studios. This was a nice place to see the first day. Lots of nice rides with the main attraction being the Tower of Terror. We were there January 4th so they still had all the Christmas decorations up. Part of the town was the Osbourn festival of light. The whole are was decorated with lights and synced to music. It was incredible, it even had snow. There is a Stars and Motor Cars parade every day at 3:00 with alot of characters from Disney and Pixar films. I have lots of photos of the parade for your enjoyment.

Day 1 ended with a trip to downtown Disney. That place is kinda nice to walk around. Its just more shopping, shows and food.

Day 1: Check in at Animal Kingdom Resort.

What a spectacular resort this is. Animal Kingdom Lodge is by far the best place to stay at Disney. Nothing like waking up in the morning and having coffee with giraffes and zebras. Make sure you get a safari view room. The pool is huge and has 3 hot tubs scattered around it. There is an outside bar for adults and the food court and arcade are located right there as well.
